Brian Argrett serves as the President and CEO of Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. He is an experienced private equity investor with an extensive background in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, documenting, closing, and exiting private equity transactions. He is responsible for directing all fundraising, investment, and operational activities of FCG. Brian serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee for Fulcrum’s portfolios. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 1992, Brian served as a transactional attorney for Pircher Nichols and Meeks in Los Angeles for three years.
Outside of board positions he holds at companies within the Fulcrum portfolios, Brian is a member of the Board of Directors of FirstFed Financial Corp. (NYSE: FED), the Executive Committee of the National Conference for Community and Justice, and serves on Pacific Coast Regional’s Loan Committee. Previously, Brian served on the Boards of Family Savings Bank, the National Association of Investment Companies and the Knox Presbyterian Church. He is a member of the California State Bar Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Brian received his JD from the Boalt Hall School of Law and his MBA from the Walter J. Haas Graduate School of Business Administration, both at the University of California at Berkeley and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

 
Cedric Penix serves as the Executive Vice President of Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. He has extensive experience in business due diligence, investment structuring, financial controls, auditing, and consulting. He is responsible for all aspects of investment origination and portfolio management at Fulcrum and assists in the fundraising and operational activities of the company. He serves as a Member of Fulcrum’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 1998, Cedric was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Group in Los Angeles for four years, where his responsibilities included leading financial due diligence engagements and providing advise on proposed transaction structures and post merger integration issues. He also served for two years as a Senior Auditor for Intermedics, a medical devices concern located in Angleton, Texas, and for two and a half years at Arthur Anderson, LLP in Texas where he was licensed as a CPA. In addition, Cedric served for two years as Chief Financial Officer of Two Hype Action Ware, a rapidly growing sports apparel company based in Denver, CO.
Cedric serves as the Chairman of the financial oversight committee for Faithful Central Bible Church and is a member of Los Angeles Urban League Executive Corps and the National Association of Black MBAs. Cedric received his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management, University of California at Los Angeles and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

 
Roy Doumani serves as the Venture Partner of Fulcrum Venture Management, LLC and has been an advisor to Fulcrum since 1997. He has been involved in the formation, capitalization, and operation of a number of businesses, recently participating in the creation of successful companies in software (health services & offshore computer programmers); biotech (prostate cancer research); finance; and technology. He is a Member of the Investment Committee for Fulcrum.
For the past two decades, Roy has been involved with financial institutions in the U.S. and abroad. He was a founder, director, and shareholder of First Los Angeles Bank; shareholder and Chairman of both First Interstate Bank of Hawaii and World Trade Bank; shareholder and director of Honfed Bank; each of which was sold or merged into larger institutions. Roy maintains strong associations with Pacific Rim business communities, and serves as a shareholder and director of Xiamen International Bank in the Peoples Republic of China. Roy began his career in commercial real estate, first joining and later becoming an owner in the Alison Company, a mortgage-banking firm. He continues his involvement in real estate as a partner in The Hills, a 5,000-home development in New Jersey with sales in excess of $1.5 billion.
Roy serves as a member of the advisory boards of RAND's Center for Middle East Public Policy and its Center for Asia Pacific Policy. He is also a member of the UCLA Board of Governors, UCLA Campaign Cabinet, and Board of Visitors of the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture. He has established two endowed chairs at UCLA in the Departments of Bioengineering and Urological Oncology. Roy received a JD from the University of Southern California and a degree in Business and Finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.



Josh B. Drake serves as Vice President, Investments for Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. In that capacity, Josh is responsible for investment origination and portfolio management activities for each of Fulcrum's investment entities, including deal sourcing, structuring, due diligence, monitoring, restructure, and exit. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 2001, Josh was a senior loan officer for five years at Cascadia Revolving Fund. Josh currently serves on the Boards of the Anderson Alumni Association (Los Angeles Chapter) and the UCLA Venture Capital and Private Equity Alumni Network. Josh holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management, University of California at Los Angeles where he received the Edward W. Carter Fellow Award. He received his BA in Economics from Swarthmore College..

 
Richard Craven serves as the Director of Business Development of Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. Richard directs Fulcrum’s marketing and business development, which includes centralized deal generation from intermediaries, private equity groups, lenders, and other sources of transactions. He has more than 15 years of operating, sales, and business development experience with middle market companies which brings a unique and valuable perspective to this role. Prior to joining Fulcrum, over a six-year period and during it’s growth from startup to $50 million, Richard opened three divisions for health services industry leader BriteSmile, holding the position of Vice President in each of the separate functional areas of Business Development, Sales and Operations. In addition he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fotoball USA, a sports promotional products company. Richard also oversaw operations at Disney Art Editions and Disney Publishing where he managed the cross functional production planning process for over $200 million of new products releases, including sales and inventory management. Early in his career, he worked as a management consultant for Kaiser Permanente and computer learning center franchise Futurekids-Africa and was the first MBA to successfully participate in Taco Bell’s Advanced Operations Management Program.
Richard received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and both a BS in Industrial Engineering and a BA in African and African-American Studies from Stanford University.

 
Cheryl Argrett serves as the Administrative Manager for Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC, focusing on personnel benefit administration and general bookkeeping for Fulcrum. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 1998, Cheryl served as a Sales Engineer for Crane Valves, an industrial valve manufacturer in Los Angeles for four years. Cheryl received a BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.

 
Duane Harris is President and CEO of Capital Management Resources, LLC ('CMR') and through CMR serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. He has extensive experience in all areas of private equity fund management including fund raising, investor communications, investment origination, investment management, and general partner management. Prior to founding CMR, Duane was a founder and Managing Director at Northstar Capital, LLC for eight years and Senior Vice President at Churchill Capital, Inc. for six years. He also has previous experience in strategic planning at General Mills, Inc. and financial research as a professor at Iowa State University and an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Duane received a PhD from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and BS and MS degrees from Iowa State University.

  Barbara Gooch is Vice President and CAO of Capital Management Resources, LLC and through CMR serves as the Administrative Director for Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC. She has extensive experience in all administrative activities for private equity fund management including investor relations, custody management, partnership administration, marketing, public relations, and office administration. Prior to founding CMR, Barb was a founder and Administrative Director at Northstar Capital, LLC for eight years and Administrative Manager at Churchill Capital, Inc. for five years. She received an AA degree from Pillsbury College.

  Jeanette Rangey serves as Administrative Assistant for Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC, providing administrative support to the full Fulcrum staff. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 2002, Jeanette served as Administrative Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Beverly Hills for two years. She also held similar administrative posts at Compaq Computer Corporation for 2 ½ years and at Merisel, Inc. for ten years, both located in El Segundo, California.
