Because Fulcrum’s specific strategies and policies for the investment of its resources change from time to time, we suggest that only a summary be submitted initially. We make every effort to respond as quickly as possible. Since we receive a considerable number of proposals and inquiries, however, up to two weeks should be allowed for an initial response.
If the initial response is positive, a complete plan will be requested and a thorough analysis of the principals, company, and the industry in which it operates may follow. In most instances, we will require the submission of a full business plan.
After the analysis is complete, if Fulcrum is interested in proceeding further, a proposal letter will be prepared outlining the proposed terms and conditions of the investment. Upon agreement of terms, the proposal will be submitted to our Investment Committee for final approval. Legal documentation may begin immediately following committee approval. Depending on the complexity of the investment structure, company, and stage of development, the analysis and final approval can usually be completed within 30 to 60 days. Complete legal documentation and final due diligence may require an additional two to four weeks. Funding can take place as soon as the legal documents are finalized.
If you are interested in obtaining capital from Fulcrum you should submit a summary of your business plan to Fulcrum. Click here to submit a business plan online.
