about Fulcrum

Fulcrum Capital Group, LLC ("Fulcrum"), is a Los Angeles-based private equity investment manager that manages three separate private equity capital pools. As an investment manager, Fulcrum assembles capital pools from qualified investors and invests that capital on their behalf in privately held businesses that are important in minority and urban communities. Thus, Fulcrum seeks to achieve the "double bottom line" results of economic success for both its investors and the communities served by its portfolio companies. The three capital pools include Fulcrum Venture Capital Corporation (established in 1977); Fulcrum Capital Management, LLC (established in 1998 as a private equity investment manager for Merrill Lynch Group, Inc.); and Fulcrum Capital Partners, L.P., a traditional private equity limited partnership. Total assets under Fulcrum management currently approximate $40 million.

All three capital pools provide expansion and acquisition capital to light manufacturing, communications, and commercial/consumer services companies with a specific focus on rapidly growing companies owned or managed by minority entrepreneurs or located within Southern California's central urban communities. These companies typically have sales from $5 million to $75 million with growth opportunities through internal or external initiatives, including operating improvements, product extensions, geographic expansion, market expansion, or strategic acquisitions.
